The Story
The founders met in 2015 while working at one of Toronto's major development firms. Covering each other's sites as site superintendents in the high-rise world, they built on a shared passion for excellence in construction, as well as an interest in arts & community projects. Years of shared and independent volunteering between 2019 and 2024 with a number of community initiatives, and support of several community groups and firms led to recommendations and awards for Ebla's first three projects. We see the importance of the people behind projects. We are dedicated to them; to the spaces they need, breathe and occupy; and to building beyond bricks.
The Firm
At Ebla Builders we provide construction management services, pre-construction support (design development, constructibility assessments, value engineering & development management), and general contracting packages to ownership groups of all kinds as well as private clients. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, but providing national and international services, we bring the best that the city's construction industry has to offer to our valued clients & partners. With collectively 35 years of experience between the founding partners, and billions of dollars worth of deliverable experience in our previous project portfolios, we are well suited to assist with a broad range of projects. While the leadership team comes from a core multifamily background (over a dozen low/mid/high-rise projects including a national condo of the year winner), we have a diverse range of build experiences including management of 1800s & 1900s heritage fitouts and retention work, retail plazas & commercial builds, institutional non-profit & charitable projects, affordable housing, hospitality work (restaurant & resort), and custom private work and renovations. As with the variety of asset classes, we have also worked with diverse materials such as hollowcore, commdeck, steel structure, wood framing, light gauge steel framing, concrete forming, and mixed materials to deliver quality outputs. We are focused on the future and optimizing the next generation of Ebla builds with use of emerging technologies (prefab, factory offsite) and we conduct an internal recurring discovery session on AI optimization where the team shows off their latest uses & ideas with each other. Outside of building and consulting, the partners are actively involved in industry leadership and are focused on using their knowledge to improve the industry and communities around them through volunteering.
